I'm a web developer, and I've come across a situation where Midori is unable to render certain webp images correctly. The console displays the message: "Image corrupt or truncated." The same image appears correctly in any other browser.
Attached is an example of a webp image exhibiting this issue.
Hello @yascker We are going to review this report, please place the website to see and review it better,
Note: Astian's website has .webp files https://astian.org/midori-browser/ specifically here and that is why the report seems strange to us but we will check.
@ponchale I attach a print screen with an example, it does not happen with all webp, it only happens to me with some.
As you can see in the screenshot I have Chromium and Midori open and the buttons do not appear.
But I have made a small inspection and found that there are some failures on the web, they are very basic minors but that can affect the navigation.
- For example in Chromium or Midori, the lateral menu is deployed.
- On the left part of the Footer in Chromium and Midori if an object appears, but it is invisible.
I presume that it is possibly a small incident in the programming of the site, but we are here to help :-).
Delighted
@yascker The bug has been confirmed and is now solved. We hope to release the update as soon as possible.
@yascker The problem was that some modifications were made to the files that would allow the reading and viewing of webp format files, among others.
We regret the traumas
