The latest version of Midori was 11.6, which used Gecko’s ESR and was released on August 8. However, since then, we have been working to synchronize with the latest changes in Gecko/Firefox and focus on improving Midori in a simple way, To accomplish this task, we have developed Amelia, a builder that simplifies the construction of Gecko-based browsers.
Midori Browser will now be based on the latest version of Firefox, putting it at the forefront of web innovation, customization, privacy, and lightness.
What did Midori Browser 12 include?
- An improved Welcome screen that allows you to select many options to customize your browser and, most importantly, allows you to quickly and easily transfer information from other browsers.
- Multiple design themes, including a modern Midori theme in Light Mode and Dark Mode, classics, and others.
- Midori Browser 12 also includes a powerful ad blocker.
- A new and redesigned New Tab.
- VPN browsing with MidoriVPN.
- And the new feature requested by many users: the inclusion of Midori Wallet, a lightweight, non-custodial wallet with fast transfers and the lowest fees on the market.
